Siobhan Healy BA (Hons) has 14 years experience of creating her unique
artworks. Siobhan now specialises in architectural glass commissions for public buildings and also sculptural artworks.
Previous clients include- The Scottish Government, The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS), The BBC, Craignish
Castle, North Lanarkshire Council, East Dumbartonshire Council and Clackmannanshire Council. Her work is in collections in
the UK, India, USA and Dubai.
The designer/maker is the Hon. Secretary of the Scottish Glass Society and is a member of the Contemporary Glass
Society and Craftscotland. She exhibits regularly and accepts commissions. Siobhan is interested in using details of nature in her designs, which assume an abstract,
ethereal quality. She finds that the fragility of handmade glass and the subtle range of hues, lend themselves to creating
impressions of organic form. -"My work is influenced by fleeting moments in the natural world. The intention is that the work will connect with people on a deeper level, to evoke distant memories and to conjure
up reassuring feelings invoked by nature."
