Healy Arts Charity (SC051273) has been established to advance education by providing opportunities for the public and artists based in Scotland & also internationally to learn new skills. This takes the form of training in specialist materials and endangered crafts. We are also working with cutting edge technologies such as A.I to explore new ways of working with heritage crafts within contemporary society.

Our Vision

Healy Arts are exploring possibilities in several locations; - within our principal office in Glasgow Sculpture Studios, Glasgow, Scotland. We are also expanding into pop-up locations; such as Venice Glass Week, in Murano, Venice. The community of artists involved in the Healy Arts Collective have the skills & networks to collectively imagine and make in ways that benefit contemporary society, both locally and internationally.

Our Mission

We empower our community of international artists through collective learning and skills development. We support experimentation; knowledge production; community, and artistic expression. We are interested in the existing narratives of our rural/urban/international locations and critically engage with the questions of our time. This takes place via artist-led projects; workshops; residencies; open access to studio facilities, and international collaboration.

Our Team

Our board of trustees are drawn from many walks of life, and they have the responsibility of overseeing the strategic direction and optimum performance of Healy Arts Charity.  Current trustees- Jane Millar; Zoe Gadsby; Lisa Nkrumah-Mweu and Siobhan Healy.
